Week 1: In Class Exercise 1

What do you think a prototype is?
A software or application that contains it's concept and purpose which use for further development.

What form does it take?

It can be various form such as physical(machine, device or paper) or software(application, software, video, power point). It depend on which type is more demand and require. For example, a device might not be able to develop at the beginning when ideal concept is came out, developer can use paper form to write/draw down the concept, or even make a video to describe about it.

What do u need to make one?
According to the example previously, we will need to use paper and pen to draw the concept or even out look of the idea. On the other hand, making video need a filming device such as phone or camera to film a video, then we use video editing software to edit the video.


What is it used for?
Prototype gives developer a way to evaluate user test plan and functional requirement. It is unneccesary to be a perfect application as it is only a initial model of the final product.

What is it’s purpose?

It helps developer to collect feedback from user and share out the concept to the audiences. Then developer use the feedback to improve the prototype for several iteration then the final product will be developed.
