Week 2: In Class Exercise 2

Think of a device you have at home, something you regularly use
Device that i regularly use are laptop, mobile phone, monitor, watch, fridge, washing machine, microwave, cabinet and else.

Think about your interaction with it
Other than the mobile device that I used always, cabinet is the most interacted device, which is a place for me to accessories such as watch, glasses, cap and else. However, the cabinet is always too messy which all the accessories are mixed up together, it takes time to find whatever i want to take.

Design variations to the way that you interact with the device - overall flow or specific aspects.
Therefore, i would like to introduce an intelligent cabinet called iCab which contain the following function.
1. Scanning Function - whenever i put the accessory on the cabinet, it will automatically scan the item and 'move' it to the corresponding area of keeping it in the cabinet.
2. Customisation item detail - we can view all the item through internet, then we can customise the detail of it, for example the name of the item or when we bought it.
3. Sound recognition - Is just like ps4 or xbox sound recognition, which i just said 'play station screen shot' it will take a screen shot, but this cabinet will receive sound like 'iCab black wallet' then it will bring the corresponding wallet out the cabinet.
4. Random Pick - It is irritating that needed to think what i wan to wear today, by using the sound recognition system or touch pad to select Random, it will auto generate a set of accessories and bring out items out the cabinet, so that user doesn't need to think what they wan today.

Design a mixed or augmented reality prototype to test those variations.
