Project Focus/ Support

When we are evaluating the video, we need to focus on two thing. A successful product required several iteration in development process to satisfy users’ requirement. Prototype with main functionalities is the main component for each project iteration. Prototype are delivered to actual user for testing and understand how user will react with it. Hence, lecturer taught us a method how to evaluate a video prototype by using the below scale:

First impression
-What comes into your mind when you first view the video
Can you really understand the concepts
-Do you know how the product works?
What question does it raise
-What question do you have? Which part is unclear?
what could they do better
-Avoid Redundancy, Emphasis special word
what do they do well
-Talk about the features that you found in video.

• Is there a better way to show certain thing?

Three following table is the evaluation of mine to that three Video played during the Contact Class:

First impression	Video is boring and irritating as the speaker just reading from the script.
Can you really understand the concepts	No.
What question does it raise	I don't understand what actually they are doing.
what could they do better	Find a quietly place to record
what do they do well	Real demonstration instead of just talking
Rate	5/10

Tasks	Video 2 -- Plain English Google Docs
First impression	Cool video, which explained well.
Can you really understand the concepts	Yes, audio explanation with corresponding demonstration give detail concept.
What question does it raise	So far no question.
what could they do better	Add some background music to make it better
what do they do well	clear audio and well demonstration is given
Rate	8/10.

First impression	music is boring.
Can you really understand the concepts	Yes, overall game play is clear defined.
What question does it raise	how people interact with it?
what could they do better	describe some special features of the game.
what do they do well	demonstration is clear.
